Don Hillier
Managing Director and CEO
Don has more than 30 years’ experience as a successful and highly experienced CFO, Director of International Operations, CPA and entrepreneur. Through Harvest CFO, Don brings a very unique blend of his own insights as a highly skilled CFO and a seasoned entrepreneur. He combines these skills with business vision, a continuous focus on improvement and a passion to bring great people to great opportunities. Don leads the Harvest CFO team and is part of the Harvest recruiting team for each client engagement.
Don’s career includes management positions with “Big 4” accounting firms, CFO and Director of International Operations for an international technology company and extensive consulting roles for middle market and international publicly traded companies for significant M&A transactions and extended interim CFO roles for middle market and publicly traded companies.
Don is a 30-year CPA (inactive) and also obtained his MBA in corporate finance and international business from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Laura Ruggiero
Director
Laura leads Harvest CFO recruiting teams providing hands-on management of recruiting engagements as well as setting sourcing strategy, interviewing prospects, performing candidate due diligence and client reporting and communication. Laura’s 30-year career includes successful experience in “Big 4” public accounting and as a successful CFO, controller and consultant for entrepreneurial and large organizations. Laura’s experience and expertise as a CFO and financial leader results in immediate credibility with PE firms, portco executive teams and our candidates.
Lisa Kieres
Director
Lisa leads Harvest CFO recruiting teams providing hands-on management of recruiting engagements as well as setting sourcing strategy, interviewing prospects, performing candidate due diligence and client reporting and communication. Lisa’s 30-year career includes successful experience in “Big 4” consulting, and successful CFO and consulting roles for global PE portfolio, emerging, middle market and publicly traded companies. She was a finalist for Chicago CFO of the year (FEI) in 2013, is an Accounting graduate of Notre Dame and has a Finance MBA from the University of Chicago. Lisa’s experience and expertise as a CFO and financial leader results in immediate credibility with PE firms, portco executive teams and our candidates.
The Harvest CFO engagement team is staffed with a lead and an Associate Director who are supported by our research and project administration staff. Our team consists of highly skilled, experienced professionals who share a passion for delivering the right financial leaders to PE portfolio companies.
