This assessment is the first step that leads to recommendations specifically defining what can be done as well as the anticipated outcome and probable impact to improve profitability, cash flow, overall financial position and company valuation. Our assessment involves discussions with the CEO and other business leaders and includes a high-level analysis of financial and operational management data.
Upon reaching mutual agreement with the CEO as to our assessment recommendations, we put forth a written proposal that includes the scope of services, expected time frame, deliverables, expected budget, and your potential ROI based on anticipated outcome.
Upon acceptance of your proposal, the engagement is commenced including any necessary “kickoff” meetings to make introductions, communicate the project plan to all involved as well as the anticipated outcomes.
After commencement your CFO Consultant delivers the agreed CFO services over the expected time frame and ensures that there is progress on a timely and efficient manner. Project performance is usually the heavier front-end project work to put into place the financial and operational management processes towards increasing profits, cash flow and improving financial position. During this stage we also train your personnel as necessary as to implementation of any processes and procedures that enable efficiencies.
On an ongoing basis we assist CEOs to measure and monitor their company’s actual results against goals. The CFO Consultant will develop along with the CEO the essential financial reports, operating reports, dashboards, benchmarks and other financial and operational management tools and other necessary data. This ongoing monitoring enables CEO decision making and/or modifications in approach towards the desired goal.
